Hello! I'm new to ModCraft but I'm just going to skip the introductions for now.

This is a rather large request and I'll strike-through or delete the stuff that has been done. The files I am looking for are to be used for a server, and the server itself wants me to prove I have permission.

Right, I'd easily look into doing this myself but as my WMV stopped working I'm unable to find out if this is possible.
I'd like to get certain models; basic mantid, basic, taunka, etc etc, into my 4.0.6a client. As I currently have a patch that includes other MoP gobjects from 5.3 and 5.2, and the misty swamp beast model (Like erm, those ones in Timeless Isle.) into my game and they work more or less fine, I was wondering if it was possible with some models. There are also models from 4.2 and 4.3.4 in there.

I absolutely realize how ridiculous and large this request is considering I've just joined, but OwnedCore have referred me to here in order to request the files I need or find a tutorial for doing this. I need the basic stuff in the form of a patch, preferably! One that can be added to a client, and then once I've sent the stuff to the other devs on the server's forum they'll the database stuff.

These are the following that I'd like to request.
Yaungol models, any mix of the basic stuff would do. Just like, base black yaungol and any recolours of that. Maybe some of the rare models with armor.
Mantid models, more or less the same, and preferably with some of the vizier models and the... yanshung(?) models, the huge bugs they have.
Mogu models, just the basic mogu. I need some stone models and some regular models, plus quilen.
Sha. General sha mobs, the basic, the floating one and the big ones like SoA.
Saurok. The saurok basic model and the reskins, you can just use the models from Mogu'shan Palace I suppose?

Some months ago I managed to port some 4.3.4 models to a 4.0.6a server. Models structure between 4.0.6 - 5.4 doesnt change, you will only need to create a new entry in some DBC and put the data files in your patch.

    CreatureModelData.dbc
    CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc

Blizzard did not change the file structure of m2s in MoP. So, your models will work fine without any editing. Just put them to an MPQ and so some changes in DBCs if it's necessary.

Aha. So it'd be somewhat simple. I'll just open my PTR 5.4.2 client's expansion4 MPQ, grab some mogu NPCs and drag them into an MPQ using MPQ Editor, I suppose.
Eh, so would no use of a converter be required for NPCs?
