Modelling and Animation / Help with custom .wmo

Hey guys, i have a problem. I want to export my custom object from blender to .obj and convert it to .wmo with the mirror machine. But if i click on start conversation, i become this error:

My Mirror machine settings:

I created my last custom object 2 years ago, but im sure that i did all correct.
my export options:


And i tried to export as .3ds and convert it to .wmo
The conversation works without problems, but in MV i have just a white object.
I had the same problem a few years ago but i dont know how i fixed this.

So, i need help to convert from .obj to .wmo

Hello guys, i tried to make a own worldmap with CS2. The islands are no problem. Here is a pic:

my problems are the mountains. i tried to copie them from the original maps, but if i paint them on my map, they are very dark, look:

It looks terrible <.< :D
Can anyone help me? xD Or does anyone have mountain templates ?

Hello Modcraft,
I'm looking for a <small> project., because in 2 weeks i start my informatic school education.  Everywhere i see that users want to start a huge project with new custom zones or anything like that. But i'm looking for a project like build an small island or a new capital city. Im not sure, if i want to start a new project, but maybe someone want to do the same.
My idea:
    Small Island as new capital city
    With NPC's for jobs(and vendors)
    New dailys(with own tokens for fun items)
    In WoD style(new .wmos from ashran)
Im sorry for my bad english, i hope u know what i wanted to say :)

Hello, I want to ask how to create nice mountains for alphamaps with GIMP or something like this. I see that the most user use Photoshop, but i dont want to crack it. So i want to use GIMP but i have no Idea how to paint mountains. Its very difficult with the mouse, so i hope that anyone help me :)

Texturing and 2D Art / [QUESTION] Add a texture to custom WMO

Hey,
I created a WMO for WoW 3.3.5a with Blender 2.70, added a texture(png) as UV Map and exported it as .3ds

The texture Name is "StoneFloorTexture.png"
then i converted it to a .wmo(v17) and copied it in a patch with the texture as .blp
but in MV is no texture visible. just White :/
can someone help me?

ive tried to convert a .obj to wmo with the mirror machine. but when i click on start, i get a error and the prog crash. error like this:

I created the .obj file with blender 2.62 and ive used this Settings to convert:

what Im doing wrong?
I have Windows 8.1 with a 32-bit System.

Miscellaneous / [QUESTION] How to use MoP/Cata Skyboxes

Hello Modcraft,
i have downloaded the 9GB Mop/Cata patch from Modcraft.
I already use the Wmos & M2s and it works fine, but now i want to use a skybox from MoP.
I found the skyboxes in Modelviewer but i have no idea how to find out the ID to use it in Light.dbc.
For my Zone i want to use "Costalisandskybox.m2"(i have no idea from which Expansion it is)
it looks like this:

Ive tried to found the ID in Map.dbc, light.dbc, lightskybox.dbc and areatable.dbc(FROM MOP PATCH) but i dont found it anywhere.
Have anyone a idea how to use the skyboxes?
