Noggit / Re: [RELEASE] Noggit SDL 3.1222 BETA
« on: January 29, 2017, 09:21:51 pm »
Ok so just tried it out a bit.

Here's what i'd like to know before i get into it, how does the new spray n paint work, what is the curser implying with its design.

Objector tool, having something like that so you only can choose objects and import objectives etc is a good idea, however, the import thing is just crap and bad. using the Model viewer is still much better.

with the new texture tool seems good, and is worth using the new version for that.

HOWEVER with the new objector tool im not. it takes too much time and is just useless.

Importing from the model viewer as i said before is a much more efficient way.
Not only that, but atleast you can import most models using the older noggit version, here its merely impossible as some doesnt get imported at all

So my tip to this would be, keep the objector tool, so you only can edit models, target models etc when in the tool, but using the old import and extractor options.

Can you explain in your guide How you can add your own screenshot, where to find it, do you need to create something new? Lets say i want others to download it and make use of it.

Can you make a video of when you create a new one from scratch with picture that is not in the mpq files already and sound.

You do not do it like this. You basically should just use fileinfo/loadinfo tools for opening the corresponding structures in a readable way, so you can recreate them with proper data. By removing lines in 010 editor you are moving offsets which fucks up the entire structure of the file.

Yeah this is something im aware of, however there is a problem when i open files that has CMD as a process, since instead of just opening up one window it keeps open up more and more and more, and i have to restart my computer to get rid of it.

I have yet to find the problem to what causes that on google so i can find a solution but that is still a question.

i got the same problem if i try to use the ADTAdder

So basically what has happened is that i have smoke at random places just appearing, i looked around  for solutions and for the first time i heard about 010 editor. cool program and very easy to use.

But my problem is that when i delete those lines that has those objects it won't let me open noggit back up.
I have no idea what i am doing wrong since i've only been using this program for around 20 minutes.

The random objects are, and is there any easier way for me to remove these other than with the editor?

Noggit / Re: Noggit 3.166, 3.3.5 Crashing upon start
« on: June 06, 2015, 11:03:20 pm »
It works now for me, i had to copy the fonts folder from the noggit folder into my wow directory to make this work, also end the path's by giving it a ""'

However, as the log wanted me to notify  the dev's i'll leave this all here.

You can now mark this thread as solved.

Noggit / Noggit 3.166, 3.3.5 Crashing upon start
« on: June 06, 2015, 08:43:34 pm »
So i lost my temper and removed everything that was not suppose to be in my wow directory, and when i did i mistakenly removed the DBC files from my wow directory, and as i had a lot of shit in my trash can i removed it all at the same time, bad move, however this is what the log file is saying.

Also i'm making this thread because the file told me to send it to the Dev's, but sine im new to this website i can't think of any way better than this, from what I've seen the Dev's are pretty active on the forum
