« on: July 02, 2013, 08:42:04 pm »
Hello Modcraft users,I am a new member and recently downloaded the Noggit.The Noggit won't open up,it opens but it crash when it starts up(white screen and closes).I tried everything but it doesn't work
My log.txt:2 - (Noggit.cpp:130): Noggit Studio - SDL 1.2
768 - (Video.cpp:204): [Debug] GL: Version: 4.3.0
768 - (Video.cpp:205): [Debug] GL: Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
768 - (Video.cpp:206): [Debug] GL: Renderer: GeForce GTX 480/PCIe/SSE2
768 - (Noggit.cpp:87): Using config file.
769 - (Noggit.cpp:257): Game path: F:Jocurinoggit335a
769 - (Noggit.cpp:261): Project path: F:Jocurinoggit335a
769 - (Noggit.cpp:308): [Error] Could not find locale directory. Be sure, that there is one containing the file "realmlist.wtf".
My noggit.conf:#This is a config file template. To use it rename into noggit.conf and set your options
#Edit this to your WoWFile!!!
Path = F:Jocurinoggit335a

#Edit this to your Project-Directory and uncomment if you want to use it!
#ProjectPath = F:Jocurinoggit335a

#Set this to the file where you will import models from (the model viewer log for example :) )
ImportFile  = F:Jocurinoggit335aImport.txt
#The far clipping value. Set to 2048, 3072, 4096 etc. for a further look. Higher values need more 3d power.
#1024 is the standard value and will be taken if you do not set this value.
FarZ=2048

The "Path" parameter in the config file is where your WoW is located.

For example, if your WoW 3.3.5a is installed in "C:Progam FilesWorld of Warcraft" you need to puth that directory in your config file:

Path=C:Progam FilesWorld of Warcraft

I dont know if you have installed your WoW in "F:Jocurinoggit335a", but if this path is not your WoW directory, then thats is your problem.

Now, if you want to save/load your ADTs in another location, then you need to use the "ProjectPath" parameter in the config file. Otherwhise, they will be saved/load from the WoW directory that you define in the Path parameter

Remember to always add the "" character on the end of the path.

Regards.
