This is a great fun project with a lot of people that loved the TV show Avatar: The Last Airbender, so this project is set in that show's timeline.

So what you're saying is, this project is set in the show's timeline because it is great fun with a lot of people who loved Avatar: The Last Airbender? Gotcha ;)

But naw, Vlad talked to me about this. Seems really cool. Wish I were a fan, but never really had the chance. And watching it now is just way too much of a time investment. In any case good luck with this, looks really good so far!

I see where you're coming from, but it's ranked as one of the best animated shows inn the English language- Google even giving it a 9.2/10 rating! With about 52 episodes, it's a staple that everyone should see!

I'll just leave episode 1 here: http://www.legendofkorra.tv/avatar-the- ... episode-1/

It's an over well made show for Americans to create using Asian culture and it also has a good balance with action, drama, comedy and adventure.

So we're going to do our best to add that to this project so the players get to be inside the universe of Avatar: The Last Airbender, so they get the best experience we can provide, for that we need more developers that would be interested in this project.

Well, I am not really a fan of anime and stuff like this but I wish you guys good luck with the project. Pay more attention to your level design. I think even if it is anime styled texturing should be a bit more detailed. Don't also forget to remove those spikes on your mountains.

Hate to question your *abundance* of knowledge, but every texture you see is made by Blizzard/

Second, why are you giving us map advice.. if you claim you've never seen the show, thus are unable to know how they would even look like? Hm.

@ Vlad & Skarn: Made by Blizzard to be used with scaling properties and advanced painting. These textures looks alot worse than the vanilla textures if you put them in the 3.3.5 engine.

Just cause they're made by Blizzard doesn't mean they're used like Blizzard.

OT: I think its a cool idea and I hope you'll be able to tackle the vast problems needed for this. (Entirely new fauna, capturing the mood of the universe, new buildings, new combat style, etc.)

The most I made in the 'What you are WORKING on' thread was apt to the thread, WORKING on, meaning I was looking for constructive criticism. If you have anything to say, you can skype me at truelannister, we can talk it over if you feel you have any information that could make it better.

First of all, I was talking about texturing, not textures. Texturing means the way you paint textures. As for me, even if it is anime texturing (which does not suppose much details because of the cartoon style) it should be a bit more detailed. I am giving you level design advice only according to my own experience and the common rules for map design. And why have you decided that I haven't seen the show? I said that I am not a fan, but I watched some episodes of this show and I know how it looks like at least.

I hope this turns out better than Vlad's ShinobiStory project where they took donations and ran.
Well, Kojoke, thanks for brining that up! :). I do wish you would either know the entire story, or not post at all, because something that you forgot to mention is: everyone who donated for my previous project are getting compensated on the new project in some way.

I do hope you remembered to not post on my threads in the future, as previously instructed of you.

I didn't forget to mention anything.  You can't run away with stuff, disappear, not respond to the people on Skype, and then come back months later under a new project and hand out some stuff to a few people and say nothing wrong happened.

Right... I donated before... infact I donated the most by quite a lot and he's doing quite a lot to make sure I'm compensated. Now I'm pretty sure you never donated so really... why are you talking about it as if you know about it? Just give it a rest and stop. :|
