Also i would like to say that this TuT is very similiar to harvesting models from Skyrim and Fallout 3 beacuse these games are using same file format and packing too im personaly using nifscope for 2 year+ so ...
to tell you how mush its similiar its like 90%

Hi everyone,

What You Need First :

[paragraph:sbdqx5tv]_Dark Age Of Camelot Client files
_NifSkope
_Dawn Of Light MPK Viewer (and not another mpk viewer)
_DDS Converter
_Blender
_Photoshop
_All program you usually use for model edit : ObjtoM2, MPQ Editor, MyDBCEditor, BLP2PNG converter or BLPConverter etc...[/paragraph:sbdqx5tv]

________________________________________________________________________________________

Weapon/Shield/Unanimated Model Part

1. Extract from game files :

All weapon and armor models are in Dark Age of Camelotitems
Go in this folder, open NifSkope and Load one. I take adr_dragonslayer_hib_1h_sword_slash_mainhand.nif

There are two cases now :
_The first case is the texture is display on the model. That means the TGA file that model use is in the same folder. So you have to do nothing, export your model as obj file and take the TGA file too.
You can see her name here :

_The second case is the texture is not display. It's the case for all TOA files for instance, like the Khaos Shield.

That means the TGA file is in a crypted file. Remember the name of your texture and go in the folder Dark Age of Camelotitemspskins and copy all mpk files in the same folder that DOL MPK Viewer. Now open the program and load one by one all mpk files you need to find your texture. I find mine in pskin015.mpk.

Export the dds file you need and close the viewer.
Open DDS Converter and convert your texture to PNG.

2.Blender part :

Quote
//!!!\The size is REALLY HUGE, import a human model for instance to size it//!!!\
//!!!\Watch out to the axes too//!!!\
Import your obj file (Khaos shield for me) and follow the instruction write on the picture under.

As you can see the UVMap is already right, you have nothing to change.
Export as obj again with the following paramaters :

Open both your obj file and mtl file with notepad++ to check it's like that :
usemlt and newmtl should have the name of texture without blp extension.
map_kd should have the path of your texture in your MPQ file.

Quote
//!!!\If it's not like that your texture won't appear in WMV or InGame//!!!\

3. Convert to M2 and Importation in WoW

Put your mtl and obj file in the same folder of ObjtoM2.
Open the cmd file of M2Convert and put your paramaters like this :

Execute. Now you have a m2 and a skin file.
Open MPQ Editor and put all the m2, skin and blp file in the same folder that the path you write in blender.
Check all is good with the m2 in WowModelViewer :

If it's work it's simple now, creat a new line in ItemDisplayInfo.dbc, put it in your MPQ File and your core's dbc folder and use this new display ID to creat a new item.
Picture InGame :

Welp i can see the staff i imported in wow model viewer, but when i tried to equip it to my character in the client via the patch-8.mpq i made doesnt show anything. It will still bonk things over the head, but its invisible.. doesn't show a model or anything..
