Hey guys! Im Jb Blaze owner of World of Blaze
Main page here: http://worldofblaze.forumotions.com/portal.htm
1.0 Trailer: [spoiler:z7i04q16][youtube:z7i04q16]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAwUwNATDXs[/youtube:z7i04q16][/spoiler:z7i04q16]

Right now we are working on a 2.0 of World of Blaze server, to get more members.

Currently in the server the features are:
Custom new talent trees for most classes.
    New interfaces
    Malls
    Goblin playable race

Next are the 2.0 project features that we are currently working on. Click on any links to bring you to the main posts/pages for better explanations.
So 2.0, the current project features:

New Faction System:
Every Race has obtained there only faction, the character creation screen is also being revamped with this feature. Basically the Horde Alliance are no more- but instead  racial societies are created.

Race Combinations
New race combinations, this is to fit with the factions breaking up, we wanted more variety for some classes.
http://worldofblaze.forumotions.com/updates-f13/race-combinations-t65.htm

New Class
You heard me. It is in very early in the stages of it. But we are creating a new class, Elementalist. It is a extremely unique class, with a wide variety of play-styles. We are still taking suggestions for it. It will have custom spells and interfaces implemented too, of course.
http://worldofblaze.forumotions.com/updates-f13/new-class-elementalist-t67.htm

And we will be using Modcraft for another major feature, Land of Blaze. Its a new continent we are adding. It will have several faction-based buildings, with a new custom battleground, and a huge custom mall/lobby were factions will be able to meet up and talk/shop. This hasn't been announced on the main site yet- but it will be soon!

As you can see its a very large project.

If you have a suggestion for it, feel free to post here on this thread or go to the suggestion category (http://worldofblaze.forumotions.com/suggestions-f3/) on the main site!

Well from what I can see...,
and don't get me wrong I'm not flaming you.
But all I saw was simple interface swaps and serverside editing.
making a goblin race is pretty easy especially because it has its own number in the db
so changing dwarf to goblin is pretty simple...
O.k. maybe I am flaming you lol... just a little.
But still I'm just pointing out what others are probably thinking...
The talent changes shouldn't even be a primary focus for you right now,
as making a custom class all on its own is not easy..
Especially if you are trying to make it have its own spells.
you will have to make the animations for them.

also I suggest if you don't have much knowledge in scripting to look more into it.
this will help your endeavors to make a custom expansion very much...
but besides all that, I hope it goes well.
I will say you have a lot of work to do.
If you want to make a custom faction system and / or custom classes.
I have quite a few people working with me on ashbringer. And we have been working on a new faction for about a month now.. without much reward.
I again hope you do very well on this project and hope you get
solutions to the problems that you may come across, on the forum.

Don't let this discourage you...
I'm just pointing out my own point of view...
when I started ashbringer... it began with me and one other person... and we now are a team of about 12 people the project was originally called project titan...
When I posted my thoughts on what I was wanting to do.
Many didn't believe that I could do it...
One member told me that when making a large project you have to start with a large platform for
what you are trying to achieve... otherwise its not going to be anything special.
Just another M.E.
If you do not have many people working with you right now i will suggest that you recruit...
and again stick with it..
don't let my words discourage you.
just try and make a new race instead of one over another... there are large amounts of people that would like to still play the dwarf.
I am one of them... most my characters are dwarfs and Trolls...
Yes I know not the most attractive of the bunch but I have a long history with them and I enjoy playing them.
You may want to also change your icon for the goblin instead of the mask icon from hallows end.
make it the one from cata or something if you need the icon I can send it to you.

And also don't make too many large changes to classes that are already there.
you will just mess up your project...
And eventually you will need to start over from scratch if you are trying to achieve
your ideas of making a new class.
If you are going to do the class system...
look a little more into dbc edits and xml lua.
as you will need to know how to do it.

SORRY FOR THE EXTREMELY LARGE POST______________
I HOPE SOME OF THIS HELPED.

P.S. Welcome to Modcraft... ;)

Well again welcome to ModCraft...
I do wish you the best on your endeavors.
If you need any help.. I am sure the community will be willing to assist you.

And one last thing I might add... is that the client version of 1.12.1 is very old and not many people will want to work with it, let alone play on it plus you got a new expansion coming out in a couple months.
I would suggest working with a more current client and then converting everything to cata when the tools are available.

Welcome to modcraft!

I like some of the features, but I'd love to see some concepts, such as the brainstorm you did before you started the project :) - Without Concepts you'd get stuck in problems later :)

Now don't get me wrong, i'm not flaming you or anything. Just wanted to point out that it's not as large as some of the other projects that's being developed :) Where they basicly make a new game out of the client that blizzard has released :D

I first want to say Im NOT flamming. I am just saying it would be a better idea if you make completely new races not just replace ones. It would be better if you put in a new button for the races.

Can someone help to identify what is happening to my autumn blaze maple. This year the trunk and outer bark has split many times, leaving large gashes in the trunk that have been very deep and penetrating even the next layer of inner bark. It also is displaying dark black patches on the bark and in some cases is ozing black sap. (please excuse my ignorance when referring to tree anatomy). I planted it 8 years ago in which i would say at the time was already about 12 feet tall. It has thrived up untill this spring and grown to 25feet. Can anyone help me in my attempt to save this beautifull tree and 8 great years of growth. Cheers.
