« on: October 29, 2011, 08:08:36 pm »
This is made by Noggit. This my first world edit.

We want players to feel the worried about what they can encounter in the fog so dispite StormBreaker (Skybreaker Model) and the (unnamed) horde gunship being litteraly right next to each other would stilld find it find to see the ship and wont even be able to see the ground. you can see the shadow of the ships in the cursed sky as shadows. an instance portal has been added in both horde and Alliance War Front Citys.

NEW Temple replacing Invisible temple:

Horde and Alliance Gunships locked in battle:

Wrecked Bridge from a dryed out river:

Update 1.5 Added Thick Fog:
Deck hand as seen ontop of stormbreaker:

View of (Unnamed) Horde gunship while ontop of stormbreaker:

Two gunships as seen from ground:

fog distance on ground level:

Update 2:
Ironforge City (Model) Added In alliance Area (fog stops once you enter City) (City used for Dwarf and Night elf War Front): Pics Coming soon

Dalaran City now floats above Horde Area (Serving as Blood elf and Forsaken War Front) (portal has been To Forsaken Main building at ground level: Pics coming soon

Known issues:
ADT  end Border Glow Appears inside ironforge like the one at the end of the sea in other zones

Coming in update 3:
Alliance village Redone
Horde Village Redone

Hey, looks very interesting Nupper, have you thought of retexturing Dalaran and Ironforge? Obviously not the originals as in, create a duplicate model under another name using the same model then use something like M2Modder to change the textures it uses? It would make the whole idea seem a lot less "Recycled" :)
Good work, would love to see how this progresses!

I do not yet know how to retexture Dalaran or Ironforge if anyone could make Dalaran a Red Theme and ironforge a blue theme that would be great and give me an MPQ to download

I'm sure there are some tutorials on Modcraft that will help you out, take a look around because I doubt anybody will do it for you just like that :) If not, I THINK it would be possible if you duplicated the models used and then renamed them to anything, used M2Modder to change the path of the BLP's, and then put the BLPS and the modded M2's into an MPQ, then import them and place them with Noggit, like you did with the originals, if not sorry. I'm pretty new to WoW modding.

If I knew where the texture files for them were I'd do it for you, let me take a look, if I can't find them sorry :P

EDIT: Found Iron Forge's textures, gonna start on them now. There are folders full, it's gonna take a while.

I will, up to now I've got banners and the statue in the entrance done, can't find the stone trim textures. Might turn the banners into Alliance banners, if that sounds all right to you :P
