«

Hi there. I have one small problem with modifying textures by noggit on wotlk patch 3.3.5a. When i end my work with noggit and i make an custom patch wow.exe gives me wow error like Version mismatch. I was sure that there must be modified wow.exe but i could not find it anywhere for 3.3.5a version.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards.

You only need a modified wow.exe if you change something in the interface.
What did you change exactly and is the file wow don´t like listed in the error message. Most time it is

I know that i need another wow.exe... so i'm asking for it if someone have it... or a link to download.
I have deleted some trees and rise up texture in Hyal zone which is not availible to players on blizzlike.

If you only changed textures and deleted some models in noggit you don't need a modified wow.exe.

No you need only an modified wow.exe if you swap some stuff in the interface folder. Just map edits in World/maps/xxyy work without any fix. That´s why i asked you what you did exactly.

It is possible that more then one version of a file exists in the WoW MPQs. They can also have different versions. So if you extract the wrong file, it can crash your patch. To avoid this, extract the MPQs all into one folder on your HD in the following order and overwrite existing files.
------------------------------------------------------------------
You perhaps have the wrong DBC source file.
- Blizzard release a new version
- Blizzard release a patch and change a DBC
- This DBC is then inside the patch and overwrite the old version from the original release MPQ.
- And sometimes they pack the updated DBC inside the local patch too. Don´t ask me why.
- So you change a DBC
- Take it from the original MPQ
- Release the OLD version in your patch
- Client want NEW version
- You get --- Version Mismatch
I have a folder on m hd where i have extracted ALL MPQs in the order listed in the tutorial.
So newer version of a file get overwritten during extraction with MPQ edit.
So i have always the newest files with the right version inside this folder.
And if i need an original file its already extracted. I can copy it just form m hd to the patch folder.

Latest common version, I don't know of any other recent ones.
To properly set it up do the following, copy the font's folder to your WoW folder along with shaders, extract locale-enUS.MPQ to your main WoW folder, download or find the MORPHEUS.TTF font, it might be in your wow folder inside an MPQ but with some searching you should be able to find it, or download an old 2.4.3 noggit editor they should have it packed in.
put MORPHEUS.TTF inside the Font folder that you moved to your wow folder
This noggit works on 3.3.5! Most of the dungeons are made up of objects so there's no real editing in there if that's what you wanted.
