[Question] M2Mod seams
« on: December 05, 2011, 05:38:56 am »
I haven't modded in a while, and I've currently started again. I've been having a problem with M2Mod v4.05, when I export the .m2i back to an .m2, and import them back into WoW there are visible seams all over the model. I've used remove doubles in Blender, which helped, but there is still seams around the back, waist, arms, ankles, etc... Is there anyway to correct this?

it happed to me with some models. You must select every black vertex and go to "mesh-->Vertices--->Merge--->At Center. Repeat this with every black vertex.

Thanks for the reply. I should be more specific. The remove doubles feature takes care of the solution I believe you are describing. As you probably know already, the model is made up of multiple meshes, and the seams are showing up were the meshes meet.  Such as around the waist, wrists, knees, etc.
