Martinus, Use this manual http://doc.qt.io/qt-4.8/install-win.html
Or after install QT, copy all you needed dlls into Noggit folder.

Thank you again, Gratural. I will see what can be done.

Yea, this buids can make angled water surfase (and much more). Without QT you take some errors, get him from off repo https://download.qt.io/

This looks promising. You are of a great help indeed, Gratural! Thank you.

However... I apologize, but I am not very much knowledgeable in these things, and as I see, there are a lot of things with "qt" in their names, and I am not able to find a stand-alone "qt.dlls" file. Can you, please, help me in this regard? Where can it be found there or is it in some other form?

EDIT: I see now, that that "qt.dlls" is perhaps not a signle file, but is meant to be a plural for numerous files, which include "qt" in their names and have "dll" as their file definition, if I am correct. So, I understand it now in that way, that I need all those "qt" files, which are causing an error in this Noggit Test program. But I am still not able to find there:
- Qt5OpenGL.dll,
- Qt5Widgets.dll,
- Qt5Gui.dll,
- Qt5Core.dll.

Can, someone, please help me in finding them?

Administrator Schlumpf, Gratural,

my sincere thanks to you for your replies.

Angled water surfaces are already in. If you compile a still-SDL version from source you will have it.

Regarding that "compilation of still-SDL version": Is it the same thing as was Drikish's message in this thread about?

You can try latest buld
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9vPj743gbBLTGNTODBqTzgyUVE/view?usp=sharing
Firstly make backup of your adt files.

Gratural, is that file meant to be that Noggit capable of angling the water? And in relation to the latest post, here: If it does not include an "qt.dlls" file in the folder, is that a problem? Or what does it entail if that file is not there?

In the moment noggit gets a rewrite to a new ui linrary and clean up the code. So i think no new features in the next time tll tjis is finished. Adspartan and all the other coders can be find kn the modcraft irc channel.

Good day administrator!

I thank you for your reply. And please: Is there some sort of estimation of or can it be estimated when the completition of this "new Noggit features" might happen? And is there a chance that the "angled-water-surface tool" will be the next target of the works on Noggit? If yes, can also be such a time estimated in this case? As it is implied, here, I am in need of this tool for the project I am working on ("after-Warcraft III") and if not the tool, now, then at least these aforementioned information would greatly help me in its coordination.

And regarding that IRC Channel (if I have deciphered that line correctly): Where can it be found, please?

I am looking forward to your replies

Good day!

Are there any news regarding the "angled-water-surface tool"? Is anyone else, besides Adspartan, working on something like that?

That is very kind of you, Amaroth, thank you. But I do not want to actually make him abandon his other duties, which are potentially more important to him, for my/our sake, although any furthering is appreciated and undoubtly helpful.

With this current state of things in mind, I am mainly in need of at least an information about an estimated time he expects it might take him to finish the tool, so that I (and my affiliates) can accommodate to the situation.

That is a pity. Thank you, Bardh, and also for sharing your experience. It is very helpful.

I have already contacted adspartan, but I do not know when to expect his response - I have seen that his last visit was almost one month ago - and in my case the issue is relatively urgent.

Does someone have an another contact on adspartan and will be willing to mediate it for me, or, if possible, be willing to ask him about the prospects of his work (mainly when does he expect it might be finished and how much effective will it be) in my behalf?

Amaroth,

I have noticed that the said adspartan has not been on this site for a relatively longer time. Please, can you, or anyone else, provide me with some information regarding the prospects of his work or of any other possibilities? It would be of a great help to me.

Good day!

Please, does someone know if any of the current tools allow us to make a downflowing river - an angled water surface?

I am looking forward to your replies.
