Using "partial objects" wmos
« on: September 08, 2010, 05:32:05 am »
Hello,

I wonder if it is possible to use a "partial wmo" of an object. What i mean is use those wmo that together compose the final wmo of the building. For example, silvermoon city has his silvermoon_city.wmo that is a whole huge object, and have many sub wmo like silvermoon_city_001.wmo for every part of the city.

I want to use one of this partial wmo in a map... but when i put the path of the object (taken from wowmodel viewer) noggit crash as if the wmo doenst exit.

So my question is if there is a way to properly load one of this partial wmos in a map in order to make a custom city with parts of main cities.

Regards.

As i know you should make a new Wmo root file (like Silvermoon.wmo for silvermoon) and make it asking only for 1 piece
the problem is: no clue about how ^^ and i'm pretty sure nobody managed to do that

Doenst matter anymore, i modified the design in order to dont need anymore those partial wmos. It would be awesome if someday someone manage to do that however.

Regards and thanks for your reply
