Title: How to minimize a Custom Patch
Post by: Homiophat on July 19, 2014, 01:56:48 pm
Hey Guys,
I got a Question.
I have seeen a Custom Patch on a WoW 3.3.5 P Server. And it was only 50mb. In this patch was Custom Modeldesigns Mounts and Areas.

When i make a Patch with some Areas and Models and Items my Patch is 1,5gb big.

Someone know how i can make my patch smaller?

Is there any trick?

Thank you for Answers.

Hi, Maybe You dont compact your archive...
When you delete or replace some file, it isnt deleted until you compact your archive.

Best pack you project folder fully to one mpq.  And use compression!
