When in Noggit, I go to the "From Text File" window, but clicking on any WMO results in nothing happening. Not even an error in the log. M2's work just fine, and my config file is set right. It was working yesterday, but today it's just not. Nothing changed.

I've tried installing different versions, reinstalling this version, looking on google... The list goes on. None of it worked.

I've been working on this issue all day and frankly at this point don't think that my little knowledge is enough to get this working. I don't know what i'm missing, and i'm sorry if it's painfully obvious to you Modcraft folk who seem to be masters of Noggit.

(I would send that log to you even though nothing out of the ordinary is in it, but as I am newly registered and this is my first post, the forum sees it as spam.)

try to click any wmo in any map and the copy it and past it and then go to your list and and i hope it will spawn weird bug i hope it fix your problem

Copying a WMO from another map results in Noggit crashing.

Here is a log from where I copied Northshire Abbey and tried to paste it into the middle of nowhere in Shadowfang Keep:

Pastebin does not work, as posting links below 10 posts is disabled. Also, there might be other triggering words in the full log.

For any other people googling this problem if they happen to have the same one, I discovered that copying and pasting any WMO from the same map lets me spawn WMO's, but from any other map they crash Noggit. This lets me effectively use Noggit except for custom continents, so i'm happy. Yay for workarounds! Thank you for your help.

One last thing- It turns out I can use custom maps, I just have to place a .m2, copy it, paste it, and then I can place WMO's.

i ment copy any wmo and past it near it in the same map and then delete it and now you can spawn  any wmo in any map but before closing noggit

Hi .. This info helped with some of my editing!! Thanks..

I am having a problem copying the night elf druid tower from Teldrassil and pasting it to my custom map..It crashes noggit every time.. Did try the copy and past in same map and delete it then open my map and past.. Any help .. Thanks.

This is the only odd thing I see in the log.txt

20738 - (Video.cpp:285): [Error] OpenGL: (at Model::draw:: after the draw list): GL_INVALID_ENUM

Solved it...

All I needed to do it add the dodad set to the buildings and it started letting me copy from other maps again.

Oh well, same problem again with anything I try copping from another map..

Noggit is only letting me copy past a few objects...

I did get it to add the druid tower a small house, a night elf inn and some street lamps.
Have tried most of yesterday and some of today to get it to copy past a night elf guard tower, a boat dock a night elf tree tower some other small objects. Most of them crash noggit and a few just past a tree from the next map over from the one I am working on..
Wow model viewer seems to have no attachment to noggit.. I am able to find the night elf tree tower in the viewer, but noggit don't see the object from it.

Found that if I use the to text in assist to copy the object tree and then use the from text to past the object on my map it worked for the boat dock and the night elf tree tower.. but some object crash noggit using this way as well.. here is a list so far.
