So, I wanted to make a few changes to the massive Temple in Designer Island, starting off with the textures. Now, I may just be delusional, but I assume it does have textures (as it's not bright green), but they're just undetailed colour (see below for pictures of what I'm talking about) and I would very much like to know where these textures are. I've looked in all my World of Warcraft MPQs, and have come across nothing resembling these textures.
Thanks in advance,
Me.

open the wmo in a text editor, search for blp.

It obviously has no UV and, as a result, no texture assigned. You can convert it to OBJ, unwrap and assign textures. Then convert back to WMO.

Thanks, I got there in the end; turns out it was in DUNGEONSTEXTURESTESTS and TEMP.

You know, I never thought to actually go inside that temple before when I had the map before. l

Interesting, all those textures are suffixed with 'WAILING'. The textures from Wailing Caverns are dated 1 November 2003, while the textures in the above paths are dated 13 June 2003. Perhaps that awesome sprawling above-ground bit that we thought for so long was dragon isles-related is nothing more than the original Wailing Caverns entrance!
* I'm basing the file dates off of the 0.5.3 files, not current data *

I think the textures were just used when blocking out the layout and has been stuck with since then. :p
