Hello modcraft I'll start out and say this wouldn't be possible without the great tutorial of phantomx to show us all how to convert these great models. I haven't seen anyone release this yet so after converting over 21 thousand textures i'm here to release them. this patch is 3.39 gigs. I hope u all enjoy them.. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas. http://www.mediafire.com/download/ddv4f ... atch-V.mpq (http://www.mediafire.com/download/ddv4fg1y32z681u/Patch-V.mpq" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
-
Can we have more precisions about this patch ? what it contains exactly please ?
Anyway, thanks :)
Edit : Your torrent doesn't work for me.
-
This patch contains nothing but converted Baked Npc Textures from WOD. They are converted to be used for WOLTK. I am currently having issues with my net and i will upload to a site and redo the torrent.
-
Oh that sounds pretty nice :)
Thanks !
-
Ok i managed to upload it to a site instead sorry the long wait i hope you all enjoy it.
-
Have anyone tested this?
-
I tested it, it appears to work in game, but not at character creation.
-
These textures are for npc's only not character models. I didn't put new character models cause Konattchi has release those in phantomx forum. Also you will need creaturedisplayinfoextra.dbc file. Here is one that i use .http://www.mediafire.com/download/8inp9 ... oExtra.dbc (http://www.mediafire.com/download/8inp9a9zod9uzi1/CreatureDisplayInfoExtra.dbc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) add the file to your BDFilesClient folder and they will show up.
-
Can you please post a link? Are they baked already? I really don't want to do all that work. Thanks in advance.
-
I appreciate the work people are doing, but 2000+ files is a bit much for me. /bows out
I replaced the creaturedisplayinfoextra.dbc located in; C:UsersPublicGamesWorld of WarcraftDataenUSpatch-enUS.MPQ with the updated one and also changed the .exe to one that can load custom patches. just in case someone has never done this before.
Wonderful job!!! I love it Thank you for sharing this with everyone.
-
Guys, stop your childish flame wars. I'm sick of deleting them and getting your even more childish post-reports.
Either get your shit together or I'll just delete it all again and will just ban everyone involved.
-
thank you for your hard work Chaos and some of northrend npcs dont work
-
Hello, thanks for your work! I've tried to use it, but i think I didn't understand how to do it....
I was used to copy the patches to /Data folder and seeing them working, but it's not ok for that.
I also tried to follow these instruction:
I replaced the creaturedisplayinfoextra.dbc located in; C:UsersPublicGamesWorld of WarcraftDataenUSpatch-enUS.MPQ with the updated one and also changed the .exe to one that can load custom patches. just in case someone has never done this before.
Used a MPQ editor to insert the "creaturedisplayinfoextra.dbc" (that was uploaded here) into "Patch-enGB.MPQ" of my client, but nothing changed... also tried to patch the WoW.exe (don't know if necessary), but still not working...
Really don't know how to use your great work :D !
PS: Happy new year!

Some npcs should go see a doctor

The goblins are bright green due to the BakedNPCTextures for them not being included (It's looking for files that don't exist). To fix that, you'll need to find the Goblin NPC Textures from Cataclysm and put them in Wrath of the Lich King.

This is a 3.3.5 goblin that comes at Christmas festival.
-
For me, it's all goblins. Take a look around Gadgetzan or Ratchet and see if they have a similar look.
-
Thanks for the responses i do hope you all enjoy it. Mathias you will need the new textures of the goblins to have them show up cause the dbc file is looking for the updated models that was release back in Cata. Once you do that your goblins will look like this[attachment=1:29vy73wa]WoWScrnShot_010115_184330.jpg[/attachment:29vy73wa]
The baked textures i did was from WOD. Goblins wasn't done in warlords. I did all races except goblins, pandarens, worgens and of course blood elves cause blizz hasn't release those yet. But with a little work you can have all races in WOTLK

So keep working on it and you will get what you want in your game. Plus everyone on this community is very helpful if you have questions and are willing to help and do some work i'm sure you'll get the help you need. Happy New Years everyone.

Hello.
Can anyone explain me how to make this models work?
I puted file in data folder file name "patch-V" but nothing happens. I have player models from other guy they work fine but for npcs nothing happens.
-
chaos1921 can you share with me the charsection model becuase when I tried to fix the worgen and pandaren many other models became bugged the tuaren horns are now green
-
What are the steps to achieve that konattchi's patch work for Wotlk? because his patch is for Cataclysm, can you explain me please?
-
Open the Patch-V with a MPQeditor or something, and add a DBFilesClient, when u put the CreatureDisplayinfoextra.dbc
http://www.mediafire.com/download/8inp9 ... oExtra.dbc (http://www.mediafire.com/download/8inp9a9zod9uzi1/CreatureDisplayInfoExtra.dbc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
And, that's all i guess.
-
Every npc turns out green for me like some people have the problem with goblins.
Anyone know how to fix this?
-
Maybe u need the textures for character too.
-
wow, this is great thanks for the work you did on this. i was trying to do this myself but being a father of 2 little guys and such this was taking me forever as a hobbie. i had it planned out i'd be done by sometime in august of this year at the rate i was going lol.
-
All the goblins and some other guards are completely green for me, where can I find the textures for them?
-
Goblin textures can be found in Cata. Some other projects have patches that include them.
One of those being "Legacy"
Does this include Blood elf baked textures?

I can't find this "Legacy", anyways I extracted them from Cata client, but they seem odd, do I need to convert them somehow?

Explain? Odd how?
Legacy is here:

They seem to be mis-placed and low-res.(again, I just extracted them and put them in a mpq)

Hmm.. Maybe the creaturedisplayinfoextra.dbc is pointing to the wrong textures?
The name of the Goblin baked textures changed from Wotlk to Cata.
