Title: WoD Warlord Models [Question]
Post by: Bryce7 on March 21, 2015, 02:02:11 am
This may or may not be the correct section to post this sort of question! so bear with me :D

I am new to the retro-porting, however WoD as we all know is still a challenge. however, i am looking for someone to do a few WoD models for 3.3.5.

Again, i understand this is a challenge and i am looking for a confident warm body that would be able to help me! (compensation can be discussed!!) but i am looking for a few models such as:

the Warlords! duh, and big characters like gul'dan. its a few specific models im looking to drag into 3.3.5a via patch such as others and myself have done before! if anyone has the ability to help or is interested in speaking. let me know!

-skype Berry.balst
or message me on here! i can reply almost instantly! (at-least im hoping to.) thanks!

attached is a picture of the warlords im looking to port into 3.3.5a (the models atleast)

Thanks for your time :)

It's not a "challenge" at all, you just have to do research and you will understand this, all this takes is time.

I have a 90 minute guide for Hand Porting 2 WoD Weapon models down to WoTLK 335a, it should in some ways give you a better idea of how the conversion process works and should be about the same with Creature models, however you'll have to do something about the Camera, but I think it's good to do it by hand first then look into using programs and shortcuts that others have made, so that when you do hit a wall and get errors, you have an idea of what to look at to solve your issues on your own then rely on others that may sometimes take up to a week to respond.... (ie Me to Phantom lol)

Stuff I used in the video should be listed in the YouTube Video's Description.

For creatures, do as the link that PhantomX responded with and set it to 0 on the count and the 0h on the location fields, as that particular thread says to do. That's a good step for starters, once you get more into the rhythm of things, you can look into inserting in some actual camera data. :) , take it in stride, don't try to bundle it all up at once.

/sigh.... you're offtopic. It's not whether it's easy or not or if it's a replace or not, This thread is meant to help out the poster. Not to try to make a name for yourself by showing off what you can do while using someone's converter program.

If you want to show off, go here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7510 (http://modcraft.io/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7510" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
