Title: [QUESTION] Making npc skins available through DBC [4.3.4]
Post by: Alune on November 24, 2014, 10:31:35 pm
Hey people possibly the first post ever here. I was a bit unsure as to where to post this but I  know it's possible, I just don't know what is required in order to do it - basically my question is if I want to make all the npc skins available how would I go about to do it for 4.3.4?

I know it can be done through DBC editing I just don't know how, a couple of clarifications would be nice!

Thanks in advance!

http://www.pxr.dk/wowdev/wiki/index.php ... ctions.dbc (http://www.pxr.dk/wowdev/wiki/index.php?title=CharSections.dbc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

Just look at the flag ID on the playable skins and put it in column 8. Also u might have to change the type id as well. Not really sure anymore.

Try to change both client and server side.

And you need patched wow.exe to launch changed client.

In addition to this, you also need to create face textures and pelvis/torso textures.
