Title: [SOLVED:Wod] Map editor?
Post by: dbbaker01 on November 29, 2015, 07:43:55 am
I spent hours searching, but alas I give up. I cannot find a WOD map editor anywhere, so if anyone knows a program capable of this (yet for some reason will not appear in my Google search results), I'd love to see it.

I need something compatible with 6.2.3 to be exact, although I guess I'm kinda just thinking wishfully since that's latest patch. Anyways, this is all I need.

Edit: Thanks, Milly.

Lock, please.

What you're looking for doesn't exist. Most people in the modding scene are still on 3.3.5a, though some people have made success modding Cata and MoP. It's also possible to mod on Warlords of Draenor, but it's hard. There is no map editor for it. The best I can recommend is using 3.3.5a Noggit to make your maps, and then converting them up with PhilipTNG's tool. viewtopic.php?f=59&t=8975 (http://modcraft.io/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=8975" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) I can't provide any support because I've never done it.

This is incorrect to an extent - there is a modding tool for WOD - it's now known as NEO.
I only have some of the older rev's from Chromon a few months ago - but it works.
At the bottom of the board index - you will see a section called Neo - From here you can download the latest rev afaik.

Neo is nowhere near finished. It lacks a lot of basics things to mod in a serious manner.
