Title: Question: problem with furnishing inn.
Post by: Fidena on July 17, 2012, 01:42:21 am
Hey guys. I'm working on making a small questing area in Tirisfal where you play as a recruit Scarlet Crusader.

I made a camp area in noggit, and everything looked as it did in noggit  as in-game.

I decided it was time to furnish the inn I made- this is where the problems started. I put a few basic items inside, but much to my dismay when I entered the game they weren't there. I could tell they were there as I could stand on the table I made, but I couldn't see them. When I turned my camera a certain way I could. I thought it might be that particular inn, so I spawned a different model but I had the same problem.

WMOs clip M2s inside. They use a special system called doodad set. Use the pre-defined ones you can choose in noggit by pressing numpad-keys. The alternative would be using server side game objects.

Try lowering the ground below the inn a little, you probably have a place where the ground goes through the wmo a little which causes the model appearing and dissapearing like that.

Not numpad. The normal number keys under the function keys.

Alright, thanks. Sort of a relief I don't have to furnish it all myself.
