Title: [WotLk] [QUESTION] What is the best core for this?
Post by: Zadex on January 31, 2016, 03:01:37 pm
This I want to do.

Custom expansion after Wrath of the Lich King.

- Level Cap Raised to 90
- Two New Races
- Three New Island Continents in the South Sea, with 8-9 zones spread amongst them
- Custom quests, items and factions in said zones, and phasing in the zones as well.
- Two New Capital Cities for Horde & Alliance
- Custom Dungeons in Custom Areas with scripted mobs, bosses and new items, each with a heroic mode
- Custom Raids in Custom Areas with scripted mobs, bosses and new items, each with a heroic mode and 10 and 25 player mode.
- At least one custom BG
- New Achievements
- New Mounts & Pets
- Maybe some custom models and textures
- A phased system where players can help their new capital city grow larger and larger over time through dailies and donating items such as cloth and ore
- Custom Login Screen
- Custom Music

I know this is ambitious but it can be a fun little project for me to pass the time possibly. What would be the best core for doing something like this?

This is written by TC devs themselves as far as I know, so you probably won't find a better one.

It's solid and works, I did it about a 100 times.
