I did, hence why i've gotten this far. Its the only thing i'm missing to having a custom class in Cataclysm...not wotlk which all the guides are written for...Cataclysm. I'm asking for a couple minutes of your time or anyone's time. If an answer is to much to ask for a hint would be appreciated, if i hadn't tried all that I could i wouldn't have posted it. Trust me.

That's the thing, i have tried. I've been trying for 2 days now. I've changed all the icons. I've changed their locations. I cannot get my new icon/button to appear.

Where you have x="6", all the other charactercreateclassbuttons using the left anchor point have x="0".

I tried changing it up and nothing changed. I think it's not loading my icon cause i tested to see if it was loading the icons from my file and it is...it's just not loading the icon, maybe my icon coordinates are wrong? though i'm not sure how to edit them.

I'm working with Cataclysm on creating a custom class, no it's not impossible I'm just stuck on one last thing.

For some reason my Icon is not showing up, as you can see i've moved all the other icons over which means my Files are being read i'm just wondering about the Icons, here are my files for those that are interested.

any help is appreciated, thank you (:

I'll post the structure to CharBaseInfo when i can confirm that our method is working

I'm almost positive i've got CharBaseInfo.dbc figured out. We're just having trouble with our WoW's not allowing any modified LUA's/XML's but everything else is functioning.
We modified the Wow.exe's manually but when we open our wow.exe's after modifying them they "Configure for the first time" and revert our modifications back to blizzard files.

I'm curious about what you're putting into the command line.

why does it end with just a simple  ?   Do you plan to put your texture files at the front of the MPQ file rather than in a folder?  If so, don't put anything,  just end it off with the name you are going to have your m2 and skin files be called, as your image says TheGrassC  which would output files named TheGrassC.m2 and TheGrassC00.skin  .

I made a tutorial on it a long while ago but I never released it due to a few friends not being able to figure it out on their own without my direct assistance.  You can try to view it and see if you can pick up any pointers from it:



Best to watch it on youtube since you can make it bigger or fullscreen where as the youtube tag here for videos disables the fullscreen function.

The object is very basic, it's a cube, a 25x25x25 Cube, i'm not sure how large that is in-game as I'm just making this as a test, when i go into 3ds, i just make a cube, export it as an OBJ, import it into blender, export it using the setting provided by Anthony, would uploading my Max file help?
