Title: [QUESTION] Cleaned-up Karazhan
Post by: Смердокрыл on July 28, 2015, 11:02:07 am
Hey!
Quite recently (in MoP I believe) blizz have "updated" Karazhan by removing webs, corpses, etc. I wanna have it for my cata server. Do I have to change all the wmos?

You probably just have to replace the files with the updated ones.

Instead of creating a new thread, I'll just ask here: where in the dbc can you set the skybox?  I dupllicated some areas (outland, karazhan and black temple) an they all appear to have the usual "elwynn forest type" skybox

The Karazhan cleanup was a test for WMO phasing triggers which failed with there current tech. which would of allowed them to make event stuff using a phased wmo

Iirc the cleaned up Karazhan was only in the PTR versions of MoP, not in the public versions. But if you have the wmo, you would just need to drag and drop it's file and folder data into a patch for cata and be done with it, no conversion on anyone's part since Cata will read MoP's wmo's fine without any errors.

If after replacing the WMOs and you still have webs and corpses and you are sure you did everything right, then it's because you have the normal WMO, not the one from the PTR.
