Just spent a couple hours porting models and decided to release the goblin
Male & Female model with all textures & animations

Do you have to recompile for this to work? Or is it as simple as adding the DBCs? I tried adding the DBCs and compiling the Goblin and Sound folders into an MPQ but it doesn't seem to work correctly. The models and anims have imported just fine but the textures and sounds are still that of the old Goblin. The hair isn't working either, facial and scalp. Also, what has to be done in order to create a player Goblin?
Apologies as I am fairly new to the modding world.

This is only models and dbc, if you want to put it in your server you must edit ShareDefines.h and recompile.

If you add the Goblins as a new race altogether, you have to add a new race to the whole. As lovely as it is to change things local, it's a damned pain to make things fitting.
What Servere do you use ? ArcEmu, TrinityCore or something altogether different ? ArcEmu is explained on here (see Serverside modding -> tutorials), Trinity is a little different (though not completely).

@Ascathos: I am currently using ArcEmu as I was already quite versed in Lua. I've done little core modding but I get the gist. Thanks for the help and tut reference.

I'd like to port these models onto my 3.3.5 ArcEmu server, but only as NPCs. I don't want or need them as a race; how do I go about doing this whilst avoiding the error of missing noses / hair / ears?

Apologies to persist in bumping this thread, but I just thought i'd mirror the above comments and say are-upload by someone who downloaded this at the time would be very appreciated, as resources as complete as this one are hard to come by and the OP seems to have not been active in the community for a very long time.
