[QUESTION] Edit attachment location?
« on: September 19, 2014, 06:29:12 pm »
I'm trying to edit the location of the attachments on the Vrykul female model, I tried first with PyModelEditor. In the attachments tab I tried to change the numbers of the right shoulder (I believe its XYZ?) but nothing really changed.

I actually don't know if this corresponds to attachments or geosets in the editor, regardless of that I'd like to know how to fix this with or without this editor.

It uses the bone it is assigned to as 0,0,0. Values that you add in X Y Z is the distance away from the center of the bone.

I checked it out in 010, and I saw that in the right shoulder bone in the bone struct it had ABlock_S Rotation. Since the only thing that seems to be bugged with this model is rotation. It only contained hex values, and yeah that is the point of this editor but I have little to none experience with those kind of values.

Not sure if I'm editing the correct things, but if someone could point out where and how you edit the rotation to turn the shoulder around that'd be great.

Hey, I was wondering if the right shoulder in the image is fine?

If the right shoulder is fine just copy the values and make them negative or positive depending if the right shoulder is negative or positive.

Alright, almost perfectly placed just the horizontal rotation seems to be off for some reason.

The model needs a few tweaks though, like removing the cloak and stuff. Is that possible? It has a pre-made texture BLP for the entire skin though I don't see the back. Over-texturing the cloak would be okay I guess would have to see the result to approve that. :P

Also, I'm using the Orc helmet display thingy and it looks decent but some of the hair goes through the helmet. Any solutions for that?
