[QUESTION] 3dstoM2 problem - Invisible model
« on: July 09, 2013, 06:06:21 pm »
Hey there.

So, I made a custom helmet model in blender, exported it to 3ds and used 3dstoM2 to conver it to m2. I've had limited succes, meaning the game doesn't crash upon loading the model, but I can't see it either. All I get ingame is an invisible model in the helmet slot.

This is the screenshot of the model in blender:

And here's the link to the converted m2, the 3ds and the texture:

Thank you for your time.

Probably your model doesn't have transparency (0:1).
I explained it here:

I tried to download your model but i can't test it because it doesn't have a skin file.
It can be a material problem too (it doesn't have transparency or renderflag).

Oh, I forgot to upload the skin. Fixed that.

Edit: I achieved partial success after increasing the model size by 250 in blender. Now it does show, but the entire model is broken, the faces are scattered around where they shouldn't be.

So it wasn0t invisible, it was too small. Another problem's there now, though.

The texture is not the problem , that I know how to fix.
