Hi.
When modifying a Blizzard ADT with latest NoggIt rev. (3.279), all the textures somehow become pretty dark compared to the original ADTs. Screen: http://i.imgur.com/Ys9og.jpg (http://i.imgur.com/Ys9og.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
In NoggIt itself it looks just perfect. Is that some mistake I made or a bug of NoggIt?
lG,

Have someone the same problem?
-
Yes here.
And i have the texture reflection.
-
I've had this before. I had no idea to fix it so I scrapped the project. Never got it again after that :P
-
I had something similar before, the red chunks would get darker on a save and reload, but modifying something on the chunk - a tiny raise/lower or smooth - would set the texture straight again, but that was in a much older noggit version. Perhaps the bug has gone unnoticed?
-
No that was the normal bug. i asked this because in the last version we had a normal bug again but should be fixed an the current one. Tr the hint i gave in the release text to clear this.
-
Was not fixed with this method.

I have an other Texture problem with my noggit3.279.
I have no dark texture, but my texture ist Transparent :
here the pics:

i marked the Texture with an red circle.
My Pressure is on max an i paint the Texture over one minute on this part of the Old Silvermooncity ADT.
I don´t know how i can fix that problem.
-
That can you set with the (in the moment black) slider in the right part of the settings window. It sets texture transparency.
-
yep it works now fine, thx.
But another little problem. When i wish paint in 2D Mode and i change the the Settings like Pressure, hardnees and radius and so on, noggit painting me a circle on this point in the background of the window :D
-
You are right. Please open a task in the tracker.
-
.. any ideas to my problem?
lG,
-
There are only two ways this can happen:
* Normals. This should have been fixed in the last build according to Steff and seems to be correct.
* Vertex Shading. This is not implemented in noggit, so it won't happen, unless something really fucked up happened. I guess, this won't.
There are no other ways to modify how light / dark a texture appears.
-
I will test this out this evening.
-
i had it to but in noggit everything was nice but in wow i it was bugged
-
Oh and, is there any fix for the bug that some objects ingame don't have half of the collision?
lG,
-
Using a current version should help. This should have been fixed since about 100 revisions.
-
I recreated the area using the latest rev., not changing anything on dark textures/object having no collision.
lG,
-
I tryed to reproduce this bug now several times on different maps. I don't get this result. My ADT borders are always the same light as the not saved.
Try to reproduce the way you get this error. What maps, what ADT and what do you do on it before you save to get the problem.
-
A last time^^
Raise/Lower
Brush Radius 1000.0
Brush Speed 0.00
Then paint over Elwynn Forrest ans save all ADT´s.
Then you can look ingame and be are happy.^^
Greetings, Zorgo

As already said. This WAS a bug in an older version. I will no longer create it but you have to do what Zorgo said to fix the still existing normal problems.
-
I'm having this bug in the latest version of Noggit. I've tried all of the above fixes to no avail.
Any ideas?
