I would just like to give a short introduction because I haven't posted yet on the forums, just in the chat feature.

I am Blake, I am the one who keeps the dedicated computer that runs the servers up, it's in my garage. I have been hosting WoW servers for nearly 5 years now.

In addition to hosting for the servers, I also have a Ventrilo server that is 80 man, and has ultra high voice quality. I would like to give this to Modcraft for use of anything the community feels is beneficial.

Jack has made it clear to me that there may be the issue of the language barrier, however, I feel that this is an overcome able obstacle.


What do you guys think, yes or no? The server is up right now.

With a few non-english channels provided this might come in handy, but don't be dissapointed if it won't ;)

I'm just saying we once had an IRC channel...nearly nobody used it :]
Most people here chat in groups of 2 or 3 in either skype or ICQ (lame, buggy and ad-ridden copy of MSN, sort of popular in germany though)

oh come on, icq was released 3 years before msn!


I guess having a ventrilo server in supply can never be a bad thing, esp. when someone provides it for free. But you don't have a guarantee that it will be used for sure (since theres now an easy accessible communication device at the bottom of the mainpage - the chatbox).
Just give us the information we need to inform ppl about it.

I'm back, and debating whether or not I will be returning to the WoW emulation scene. A lot has changed for me in these last two years (according to the forums, my last visit was: Tue Aug 24, 2010 10:15 am).


If there's still enough-of a need for me to provide a Ventrilo, I can seriously consider providing one for the Modcraft community free of charge.
