[NEWS] Starting my first server!

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that i'm starting a 3.3.5 private server. I plan on posting my projects status through this forum.

Here's a list of questions I have about making a server, I understand there are already topics but i'm spending most of my spare time learning how to script. If you could link the topics for the questions that would be super.

1. Where should I buy a server?
2. How do I create a server from scratch?
3. What are the best cores to make my server from?
4. What are the best programs to use when creating my server?
5. Where do I get information on how to create a decent website for my server?

If I can get all these questions answered I can make something I think will be great, hopefully you think it's awesome too.

Face vs Table.... :') We are Modcraft, not: How to make a World of Warcraft Server-Craft. If u are here, u should have the basic knowlege about it.

But maybe try trinity, should be the best way. If u really want it, do it yourself: http://www.trinitycore.info/How-to:Win
Other ways: Novos Easy Mangos Server (if u really trust him o.O)

As stated, i'm aware of google and such. I have also made servers in the past, I would just like an in depth version on how to create one from scratch, i'm asking for links not lives.

There are so many guides how to creat a own privat-server. Even the little childs can set one up. So it will be no problem for u too, or?

I've made several servers. Nothing from scratch though. Usually use a repack of some sort.

So, following the steps in my link, I had post, so u will have your own trinity core.

First taks. Compile and setup Trinity with the guide posted. It is easy and if you dont get this to work. Stop thinking about an own server. The problems that will come are much mor difficult.
