i want to add an addon, flagrsp2, in my patch in .MPQ format, can i do it? client reads addons from MPQ files?
-
In the time waiting for my reply you could have checked yourself. But: yes.
-
Then why does blizzard adds its addon content in the addon folder? :O
-
Then why does Blizzard have it's whole interface in MPQs?
-
But you need a patched WoW.exe because the interface folder is secured.
-
The Interface folder is not secured. The only thing being secured are the sub folders GlueXML and FrameXML. These are signed by .toc.sig. All other folders are free to be edited.
