Well, you have asked your question, you have gotten your answer. You need to know a thing or two about models in WoW. If you have no actual clue about things like getting Legion character models to WoW, you have a damn lot to learn. Don't expect anyone to write something like 5 A4s of written tutorial which would provide every single piece of information you need to have in order to make this happen without any issues.

The thing is (damn, why can't we edit posts...), that if you knew anything about retro porting (and more than nearly nothing about WoW modding in general), you wouldn't even ask this question, as you would already know the answer. Which makes your question nearly unanswerable, apart from saying "yes, its possible, now learn as much as you can about models in WoW and you will get to know how to do this anyway".
