I have only 6-7 models converted to 3.3.5, i have lost hope to do them :(
This make me likes 8 hours to convert a model to wotlk, it take me 15 min to convert a model to mop

And i have to remove some geoset to do this, this is easy with gnomes and orc, but dwarfs and undead are really impossible for me, i'm not really good with Blender.

Just wait for phantomX, he will release a patch with everything working, i trust in him :D

Yeah the undead are annoying me too but only with the bone textures seems like I have to combine all the bones into one mesh and hardcode the bone textures to them....

Besides that I can port a WoD character model from WoD to WotLK in around 15 minutes the only long part is converting all the face textures............ why so many blizz just why....  :(

I've ported all the races just doing the face textures take so long because there are a lot.  :(

I was actually thinking of releasing a tutorial so it would speed up the process but idk how many people would be willing to actually convert so many facial textures... without getting tired of it and not doing it...

Might as well release the tutorial, worst that happens is you spend a bit of time writing it up and no one uses it, best that happens is someone who is bored converts some faces :P

I seriously don't fucking get this. I followed every single step and it still fucks up. Models are black etc lol.

And yes I did create a custom patch with my Charrace dbc and yes I did change it to pandaren UV mapping. Still its broken. So weird lol.

Edit: I suspect deleting Interface corrupts the mpq.

I guess because people can't steal this work and claim it's theirs.

the patch 2000000 gives an error as well if I don't use the french .exe

Hmm I can't even find a way to make it work here since deleting interface corrupts the whole mpq and creating a new one doesn't work for me :/

Because this patch was made for my server, this was securised with a lua script, crypted, with lot of fake dbc etc....

Now, HD Models are released on live servers, everybody can make an account and try it.
My patch is now, completely useless, that's why i release it

And i  can't upload a new patch without all security

First bug I've found is that Worgen does not work. It gives a WoW error.

Worgen doesn't work for MOP? I think you're swimming in deep water now, Xeriae.

I think you misunderstood me lol.

This is WoD HD models. There is a gltich with Worgen models. Gives WoW errors sometimes and Human form looks like shit.

Anyways since he said to report bugs, I'm just posting what I found not working.

We'd all love it. Only major glitch is the forsaken male npc's not having textures. Other than this, the patch is well made :D

Thanks for this.

hey, thanks for the patch

anyone tried to open HD models with WMV(WoWModelViewer) ?

most models are broken, any tips to fix?
Title: Re: [RELEASE] MOP Models HD Patch
Post by: phantomx on October 22, 2014, 03:43:15 am
These models are made to work correctly with WMV.

They require you to re-uv them.

I'm currently working on a set of videos tutorials explaining how to get WoD Models working for wotlk 3.3.5 and they will also work on WMV.

It contains ChrRace.dbc, this dbc must be included in a locale patch and not in a general patch
DELETE IT and do this :

Word Of WarcraftDataenUSlocale-enUS.MPQ

should i delete ChrRace.dbc from locale-enUS.MPQ?

i already build a mpq with fixed ChrRace.dbc but its not working
Title: Re: [RELEASE] MOP Models HD Patch

World of Warcraft/data/enUS and make a mpq : wow-update-enUS-200000.mpq

with ChrRaces.dbc inside

And no need to edit others mpq from original game

Here are some bugs discovered:

1. http://i.imgur.com/wyS1jA7.jpg (http://i.imgur.com/wyS1jA7.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) = Some Taurens faces turns black. These specific ones.

2. If you create a bald character a.k.a no hair and login then zoom out you will see the top of the head split in 2. Actually whole character gets split in 2. a white line appears.

1 means you're missing that texture or the location it's suppose to be in is not there.

2 That's actually on the live servers they will fix it but yeah...

Look through this (http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/world-of-warcraft/world-of-warcraft-bots-programs/291383-patch-sig-md5-protection-remover-61.html) post on ownedcore. It should be there somewhere.

Credit most likely goes to Jh16 for patching.

There is a huge difference between these and the ones on retail. For example with a patch like this, every face has one default structure while on retail every face has a different one. Nose gets bigger, eyes size changes, eyebrows changes and the overall size and shape of the face as well. Is this the new .bone files? Textures are exactly the same as the ones on retail. Don't think it's possible to make it work like this on mop right?

Also there is a glitch with bladestorm. He only spins once and doesn't repeat ending up in his character just being in a freezing position in the duration of the bladestorm. Tried to fix this but couldn't eh....

Like Rangorn mentioned in the main post these are old, he did these models for his server a long time ago and I'm pretty sure the time ago the facial expressions weren't in yet, the facial expressions that you mentioned are just textures that weren't made at the time he did these models.

Thing is that I recently checked the retail ones. They are exactly the same as the one we have in this patch. I might have fucked up somewhere so I'll check again.

Edit: Yep. It is not the textures. Just checked. Textures are exactly the same and even tried a new patch with fresh textures.

True and False.

i have made first models (orc, gnomes, human FE and Ne FE) before the bone face update.

But last models like human male or trolls, were made after the bone face update.

I think it's a new component, so it can't be used in Mop.

Well any ideas why bladestorm animation is broken? I can't find the reason as to why it won't work.

No wow error.

When you use bladestorm the animation starts and character spins half a turn then the character freezes and wont spin anymore until bladestorm is off.

I tested it in WoWmodelviewer and animation goes perfectly there.

It's a loop problem, many animations are like this

Sounds like a missing geoset.

But, I haven't played around with the models so I might be completely wrong.

The geoset probably wasn't attached to the body or is named incorrectly so when you wear that type of boot that calls for that geoset it doesn't find it.

Fixed the bladestorm glitch. It turned out to be a problem with the actual model.

Only thing left is the annoying female tauren glitch I described earlier.

Edit: Nevermind.... it's the same problem here as well lol. Simple fix.

Last issue I have is that the mind-sear and mind-flay casts from the wrong hand on undead male. Any ideas how to fix this?

I've planned on releasing this when I feelt it was the right time. I think I might be finished fixing nearly everything which wasn't working but since people started copying links from my fixed release and literally claiming they've done all the work (UHM PANDAWOW) and not giving any credits where it's due at all (Rangorn) I believe maybe it's best to just put it here.

This patch is a continuation of Rangorn's patch. Everything is fixed and I also made sure it's stayed as blizzlike as possible.
