[QUESTION] A strange noggit error.

(1/1)

ViridielLorael:
Hello,

I've worked with noggit for months now, and suddenly it wont work anymore.
When I open it it just Instantly closes and the logs will tell me this;

--- Code: --- 35 - (Noggit.cpp:129): Noggit Studio - 3.279+
699 - (Video.cpp:204): [Debug] GL: Version: 1.1.0
699 - (Video.cpp:205): [Debug] GL: Vendor: Microsoft Corporation
699 - (Video.cpp:206): [Debug] GL: Renderer: GDI Generic
699 - (Noggit.cpp:220): [Error] Initializing video failed.
--- End code ---

Does anybody know what they mean with this?

Ascathos:
For one: old Noggit version. Update.

Else, it says the error:

"699 - (Noggit.cpp:220): [Error] Initializing video failed. "

Common options:

Update Graphic card driver
Re-install Graphic Card (Deinstall it in device manager, re-install it - look tutorials up for that)
Try updating Direct X and other programs of that regard.

May or may not have to do with an integrated GPU in a laptop.

Steff:
Some integrated GUP drivers dont implement openGL well. So direct x games work but opneGL what noggit use don´t work. If update of driver dont change the problem you need an new graficcard. I also dont know why people by laptops for work. For my taste a desktop is much better and coast 2/3 with same power.

I guess it has to do with more flexibility and mobility ?
