Title: Creating Spells
Post by: Mr. DK on April 16, 2016, 09:12:06 pm
Hello Modcraft,

Has anyone done any spell/classmodding in wod? I was trying to add a spell to an existing class. Anyone know how to do it? Ina addition can anyone explain what a SpellClassSet is. It has to be something in that direction.

I made spells in back in Cataclysm. Should be possible if you fill out all the dbc's that are linked starting from Spell.dbc. Also, SpellEffect.dbc which people miss because its not directly linked.

The problem is not all of the WoD dbc's are documented because people insist on staying on a 8 year old version of the game.

Need a world editor that I can load my edits directly into WoD.  None of this make a map and then convert it to the right version stuff.  That's the only thing keeping me in WotLK and it's a PITA.  I desperately need WoD to get around the WotLK low-poly limit.
