I often read deeps question:
Have you tested the new release. And noone or less people answer. That slows down and demotivates. What about a new tester team with 5 till 10 guys only here for testing stuff and give feedback. I think there are also guys out not able to build but to test.

It isn't demotivating to me to not have people test, but it does slow things down. Right now since I'm the tech builder and tester, I see things from just my point of view so I can easlly miss something. But more sets of eyes catches bugs faster.
And remember, my personal opinions about testing are different. I don't "play" wow. But Ive found that to make a game great, listening to the tester feedback is key. don't feel like all you have to do is report bugs, If you think of a better way to do it, and it works it will go in game.

Ok but a smale team only for testingsuch stuffwould be not a bad thing I think?
And what do the rest think?

I think that it is a good idea. If we had a testing team no one who works on mauum has to realy test things. This will be pretty useful if we get in an alpha or beta status. But those people should be choosen wisely (dont know if i can say it so) because there are many people who just want to see this stuff.

I think it's a good idea too.
But being a tester should be easy.
So more people could be tester and they could do other things too and not only try to get their data and find out, how to talk to a builder.
You should have a nice overview, where and how to get your data and a good working chat with the builders to give them feedback.

Maybe people who join maruum should be a tester first for a short trial period, maybe a week or two, then that would give them the basic idea of what we are about before they move onto a specific team.

Like deeps idea...
