Miscellaneous / Re: Help Getting Started with WoD Modding?
« on: March 11, 2018, 11:58:10 pm »
Hmm, might be an issue. I haven't been able to find another full WoD 6.2.4 client than the mega.nz one on this site. I did download that with the megasync app, though. Would that suffice?

Also, just to clarify, when you say "download the client again", should I also redo all the client-steps of the guide as well?

TLDR: have you tried the 6.24 client hosted on Google Drive that can be found here on the forum? :)
I mean this one here: http://www.modcraft.io/index.php?topic=11332.0

I have been having issues finding a working 6.24 client as well.

I downloaded the Mega 6.24 client found here on the forum (this one: https://mega.nz/#F!nZ5TFQyT!Lp7MRsGtnPtltprS7jAnhg) through the MEGA desktop app (it should be reliable as Jdownloader to my knowledge), but it turned out to be corrupted because the CASC Explorer is not able to open any storage. :(

Then I found another 6.24 client online and I downloaded it through Utorrernt, but even that one seem to have problems, as CASC Explorer is not able to open any storage on this one too. :(

EDIT:
I managed to download the Google Drive WoD 6.2.4 Build using JDonwloader and I can confirm that it works fine, so give it a shot. :D

Noggit / Re: [Release] Noggit SDL 3.1021 BETA
« on: March 10, 2018, 11:52:35 am »
Should there be a Tablet control toggle for Blur/Flatten and 3-D Paint?  I can't seem to change the Blur radius or 3-D paint pressure values.  Or am I missing the obvious, somewhere.  I did turn off the tablet function under the Raise/Lower Panel, and the parameters in that panel are all adjustable but that doesn't seem to transfer to the other 2.

I know this is kind of old, but I believe I can help the people still having the issue described in the quote above.

The problem only happens to those that have a pen tablet installed on their PC: if you don't have a pen tablet driver installed you shouldn't have the issue described in the quote above.

So first of all, to work in Noggit you have 2 choices:
1) work with a mouse and a pen tablet connected.
2) work just using your mouse (without a pen tablet connected).

[1] WORK WITH MOUSE & PEN TABLET CONNECTED
If you do want to use a pen tablet (I do use a Wacom Intuos 4) simply plug it into your pc, run Noggit, and you will see that all the controls for "Raise/Lower", "Flatten/Blur" and "3D Paint" are driven by the tablet pen pressure. So everything works fine using the pen tablet.
Also bear in mind that keeping the pen tablet connected doesn't prevent you from using your mouse as well (if/when needed).
However bear in mind that in this setup (tablet/mouse) using the "Flatten/Blur" and/or the "3D Paint" with the mouse still have the bug of the not working Pressure (that however work with the pen tablet).

[2] WORK WITH MOUSE ONLY (WITHOUT A PEN TABLET CONNECTED)
If you do want to use a pen tablet and you prefer to only use your mouse you will experience the issue described in the quote above if you have a pen tablet installed on your pc. The fix however is pretty simple: to get all the controls for "Raise/Lower", "Flatten/Blur" and "3D Paint" to work correctly with the mouse you have to stop the tablet service in the Windows Services (in my case the "Wacom Professional Service").
I always did that with Noggit closed and it always worked: so just in case, close Noggit, go to your Windows services, find the tablet service and stop it, then launch Noggit again and now all the controls for "Raise/Lower", "Flatten/Blur" and "3D Paint" should work properly with the mouse as well.
[NOTE] Bear in mind that whenever you want to use your pen tablet again (for example to paint something in Photoshop) you will have to restart the service.

I hope this helps. ;)
