Title: M2 Collision
Post by: inico on July 20, 2011, 03:51:37 am
Hello!
Well, made a lot of custom doodads for wow 3.3.5. I tried to give them collision with CollisionAdder but it just bugs the model. I tried to add it collision with PyModel but my model crashes in-game. What can i do to add collision to a M2?

Thank you ^^

Fully agree.
I was once a tool to automatically add a collision on the entire model, but it worked poorly (Adds conflict is not the whole model) =

If anyone would create a quality tool to add a collision, then I will give a lot of Public Custom scenery, such as:
Animated shrubs and grass
Animated Trees (animated leaves on the trees)
Models of the walls and towers
Animated flags of all factions and etc.
-----
Since the collision to add I can not, "Bad" model in Public, I will not give up.

Example:
Made in 20-30 minutes:
(These trees are working in the game, but they have collision)

I'm not sure if there is a tool, but I'm sure you could just steal one from an existing wow m2 tree and hex-edit into your model, the collision will not be exact but it's better than nothing!

btw check out wowdev for info on the m2's

Yes, i know. But if i create a custom building, i will need to add it a custom collision u.u
And i am not a programmer to edit the m2 file with wowdev :P
