Title: [WIP] Just a litte training area^^
Post by: Jøk3r on September 13, 2011, 05:45:30 pm: I started a litte training area, where i train my skill in worldbuildings. I want you show you how it goes on.
I will post screenshots if i made enough changes to show them to you. (I don't work every day at it and also not very long at it, so i won't update this thread with screenshots every day.
Feel free do comment. Of course you can also say what I should make diffrent and so ^^

Update1:

Since i got a custom map working, i started something better and it looks sofar much better than the last screenshots :)

I would use my own continent but i still have some problems with it.

Use the given function of the imagehoster to insert images. Just copy the pathes they auto create for you inside the boxes on the right bottom of the site.

Good start. Hope to see more of your work.

You will definetly see more of my work but my motivation comes and goes very quick.. ^^

I will update this topic whenever I think I have enough changed (that will be in the next 1-2 weeks i think, i'm not the fastest builder).

Post by: Bartons on November 08, 2011, 02:51:32 am: I need to work on my texturing skills, as well as differentiating my height across all my ADT's. =p I'm just really proficient with placing doodads and giving overfeel to a zone through them.

I will begin placing objects if I'm finished with the textures.^^

Post by: -Dave on November 08, 2011, 04:13:07 pm: I dunno, I think the textures do fit, only thing I'd suggest would be to make sure it fits the terrain 100%, like where small hills and dips are etc; and blend / smooth a little more (Like on the elwynn-like grassy areas)
