The City of Thousand Aspects
Citizen: Elves (Blood Elves, High Elves?) Friendly: Neutral / Friendly (?)
Lore: (Upcoming soon) / Planned: The City of Thousand Aspects was built about 1400 years ago. The city itself was first just a ceremonial area where people lived peacefully inside the walls. The gate was closed for a long time so that nobody could leave the city. But just a while ago the gate was opened again so that the citizen could explore the lands around. But while the citizen were living inside the city without any connects to the outerlands, the unknown darkness has invaded the lands which one were pure but which now are under turmoil. The buildings in towns are wrecked and run-down, the forests which once were bright green are now dark..... The animals which once lived in peace are now under the control of dark...

This city is the latest (and probably the first) of my works. I'm probably going to include it to my project (after the whole map is ready).
As you can see from the screenshots, the city (and the map of course) is still in progress. I will probably update this thread while working on the map and after I've finished it.
I'm still thinking how I could decorate the buildings and what to add (barrels, boxes, lights, chairs and benches, rugs, tables, candles, books, etc.). Also I need to do some rework with the texture and add/swap more bushes/trees, etc.
Unfortunately I also came up with the little issue....MFBO chunks (again...) Of course I've taken a backup from my latest work and it seems that I also have to replace the "damaged" chunks with the original ones. But those chunks just seem to get violated while doing a lot of terrain editing....
But now, let me introduce you 'The City of Thousand Aspects' (the name will probably change if I change the lore.... and I will probably post the lore later, too. The city looks better in-game than in screenshots but...).

The Issue is solved I wanna thank everybody who even tried to help me a little bit.... after all it was just a Noggit what was fucking up things. But after noticing that there was even more updated version of 120 available, I downloaded it. I was so close to give up but I'm glad that I didn't.

Alright, thanks for the help. I will try Noggit rev 104 to see if it works any better than 120. Then if it doesn't, I will check the older version of Taliis.
Edit: There must be something wrong with Taliis, because Noggit rev 104 crashes when trying to load any of the maps I've created in Taliis. I try the other version to see if that is the problem. I will let you know the results.
Edit2: Strange..... I changed tools but none of them seems to do the trick... Somehow I think that it's Noggit rev 120 that corrupts the things (why? I saved adts one by one and I even saved one adt that I didn't even edit... strange). By the way guys, what tools do you use because I just don't get my maps to work...
Edit3: I don't know if this is strange or not but I haven't added any doodads yet.... Still my Noggit log shows: [spoiler:zr33bz6h]217401 - (model.cpp:110): [Debug] Unloading model "worldazerothelwynnpassivedoodadstreescanopylesstree01.m2".[/spoiler:zr33bz6h] before unloading the tiles.... But it wouldn't explain why the areas don't show...

Well, I'm using Noggit rev 120 and Taliis (the latest available at blog). In fact I don't know if I'm falling because I don't die after a while when I enter to the edited area and I can go backwards where I came from and see everything again (I just cannot access to the edited areas).
I just got too much ideas to be wasted and I don't want to quit. Thats the only thing that keeps me waiting until I can get my maps to work....
EDIT::: I JUST REMEMERED SOMETHING! My first map I did in Noggit Rev 104 worked (I just didn't know back then that I had to save adts one at a time). I'm using "Save All" feature in Noggit Rev 104.... Could that be a reason why the edited areas of my maps don't show? Trying this now and I will post a feedback about the results...
Results for this: Saving adts one by one didn't do the trick.

I didn't ask you to build a nuclear bomb.... I asked if anybody knows how the walls work and IF NOT then I could write a tutorial about making wintergrasp style walls to map.

Well if nobody knows how they work.... We should find out. Somehow I think that they are DBC related thing too (the walls are placed in Noggit for example, and then we edit DBC files to match the IDs of the objects we spawned in Noggit, then we just add them to Gameobjects table in Database or something...?). That is how I would think it to happen.
But I think that if I find it out (in case that nobody else does) I could write a tutorial about it...

Hey,
I just got a question because I would like to use Wintergrasp style walls but I don't know how they work (I mean that they can be seen from far away but setting up walls as gameobjects doesn't work because they cannot be seen from far). I'm asking this because I need those kind of walls to my new map but I don't know how they "work".

Hey,
Hopefully somebody can help me with this. I made my custom map (again) and a patch (surprise!). And I even edited it a little bit so that I can see how big the things are in-game. You know that brighter green area in Noggit when you've edited the map a little bit? This is about it... When ever I try to access to the modified area (brighter green area), everything goes blue and I can only see a sky, not any ground. But the most odd thing is that I when I move backwards where I came from, I can see the area again (and the ground, too).
This is very annoying because this happens only with edited areas, not with the enedited areas. I've made some maps and all seems to be like this and I've wasted my time for nothing.... I've tried those maps both in Trinity Core and ArcEmu and the same happens with both of them.
Hopefully somebody can help me with this.

My noggit (rev 104) displays everything in the middle range, not as a day or night, but it's always night in-game.
