Hey
I was bored and well.. I made the ol' classic: an island.
I mainly used sholazar objects and textures for this one. It was made in about 4-6h, i don't exactly recall...
BEFORE you watch the screenshots I'd like to apologize about one and another thing with them:
-Sorry I couldn't get in-game screenshots but wow screenshot function was fucking up, so, meh
-Sorry the rendering isn't that great on some of the pics, had to use Noggit with a pretty bad rendering comp.
-It looks way better in-game cause it has groundeffects attached to it there which won't show in Noggit, it makes it look much more filled and alive, which it really isn't on these pics.
-Sorry about the lightning. Noggit doesn't have very good lightning :|
-And then noggit doesnt show water, which i actually added
Anyway, here comes the pics.
-WARNING, BIG PICTURES-
(Unless modcraft made some kind of resizing thing)

Short screenshot tut.
1. Wow build in. Just press Print and your current screen is in your wow folder under screenshots.
2. Activate the wow window and press ALT plus Print. This copy the current selected window into the clipboard. Now go to your fav image editor like photoshop and make new image. Then just past the clipbaord with CTRL + V.
Without holding ALT the Print key takes the complet screen ond not only the active window.

Well, I know that, but it was something with WoW so it was just lagging and it didnt work when i did that, perhaps something in the key bindings. oh well.

Looks nice. You should layer the grass texture with some darker or lighter reagions and some dirt around the trees.

Doesn't look too bad indeed! But one tip, which was already given by Steff, try to give the groundtexturing abit more variation, other than it's pretty good!

I did add some kind of more, uhm, "leafy" texture on it but I guess it isn't that visible, so I'll go ahead and brighten it all up at some parts :) thanks!

^that
Plus , how about adding some more stuff? It looks a bit emtpy and doesnt feel like a jungle.
But all in all nice work! I especially like the middle hill.
Keep up the good work! :D

Yeah well, it looks very, very empty through noggit but I have added this ground effects thingie, that applies some small doodads on a texture, if you know what I mean? :/
It gives a lot more crowded feeling in-game, although I do agree with you, I could add some more bushes here and there imo.
