Title: [WotLk] [DBC] Language on custom race?
Post by: Skt16 on September 07, 2016, 07:32:05 pm
Hello, i need some help on custom race... I create a lot of races thanks to a tutorial i found on this web but, i got a problem what cant resolve be myself.

The problem is the language, when i create a character i cant use the chat because: "You dont know this language" on all what i write (gm commands too)

And i edited the following dbc files:

SkillRaceClassInfo.dbc
SkillLineAbility.dbc

And db from the server (playercreateinfo_skill  &  playercreateinfo_spell_custom)

Got TrinityCore on 3.3.5a

This is the tutorial i followed:
viewtopic.php?f=26&t=165 (http://modcraft.io/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=165" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

Some idea? Thanks!

This is strange, I'd just double-check everything and thats all. If you have enabled language's skill in SkillRaceClassInfo.dbc for your race as learnable, it should work just fine. What faction are those races which get this problem btw in? Horde, Alliance...? As far as I know, changing a faction alignment for race's faction can cause language problems (like, original Horde race can't sometimes use its original language if it was moved to Alliance and so on), but its quite a long time since I had to solve such problems and my memory can be really terrible. I'd say take also a look at your race's factions.
