 [Zone] Forest
« on: August 26, 2014, 03:57:33 pm »
Hey Modcrafters, me and my brother began making a new project, we made a small forest. Below are the pics, please if you have any suggestion, critic or anything leave a comment.
Also I posted four images of some UNFINISHED MOUNTAINS.

Thanks!

Doesn't look that bad but, work on your ground texturing & mountain terraining :P Atm I think its the mountain who brings it down the most.

Shape of mountines  looks really good, but you should work on textures. You should break the texture, because there is still same patern. For forest you should use different trees (not just still the same and some trees with big treetop), if  you insist  on using them, you should use a lot of them for good  result.

I think it looks pretty good. Though can't help but notice that it's pretty much just Grizzly Hills. Same models, same mountainy concept. It's fine if that's what you were going for but it's not original by any means. In fact it seems like half of the custom levels I see on here and based on Grizzly Hills.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. Its my first map, I just wanted to "experiment" a bit. For texturing don't  judge by the three first Images(Mountains), I haven't even began to texture them, just wanted to know your thoughts about the shape.

Thanks very much  :D
