Hey! Just dropping a simple tool to reset the trial period on Machinima Studio - Honestly I don't know if this exists elsewhere or if there's an easier way to do it, because reinstalling and repairing did nothing for me and never has.
What this does:
- Extends the trial or resets it if it's already finished.
What this doesn't do:
- Activate the software
- Remove any wait times etc
If this goes against any rules of the forum, feel free to remove this thread, I made this for personal use anyway.
I've reset the trial twice with this, but if it doesn't work for anyone, send me the log (If it throws an exception), and I'll look over it.
As with most tools like this, the software edits registry, and therefore I can't promise it won't set off a false positive on virus software.
To manually reset the registry key, Open Regedit, navigate to "SoftwareBCMachinimaStudio" and remove "feedbackUrl"

For the record you can still activate the product as if it's the first time. The re-activation when changing or reformatting computers is what doesn't work.

Thanks for this man, I've been annoyed with not being able to re-register, no way in hell am I going to purchase a piece of software twice just because they decided to turn off their re-registration server.

I once told you this was easily possible. It's a bit funny that someone who's so anti-leech is resorting to someone else's program to accomplish this. ;)
Anyway, you could reset your trial just by turning back your system clock too. :lol:

smh, I have no idea who you are, that said I don't think we've ever talked before, but I don't see how using this to reset the trial is leeching?
If you are referring to Machinima Studio, it beats the hell out of using 3D Ripper DX imho.

Last year I found a cracked version of Machinima Studio after some researches, but I hesitate to share it on the forum because it's not totally " legal ". A friend bought a license, but after some problems on his computer, the license of the program was finished. So, this method is also good for peoples who buy the program to support the developers.

It's the 1.0.8.317 version, just install it and change the .exe and the .cfg with the "cracked" versions in the program folder. When you extract models, just click "continue".
Like samgartell said, if this goes against any rules of the forum, I can remove it.
