I would like to know if you plan to make an ADT Converter 4.x 5.x?

5.x is not even analysed. At least, nothing common is known.

We're only starting to scratch the surface when it comes to editing 4.x files... 5.x support shouldn't be much more complicated, as the major changes really took place in 4.x. 5.x has a new obj adt type, which needs to be figured out (as far as I know).

as far as i have seen, nothing major has changed between 4.x to 5.x, as I'm working on some editor code for the obj files and i have been testing with both MoP and Cata files

4->5 is indeed negligible and might most of the time he accomplished by just copying files. 5->4 is not always possible though.

I dont understand what someone would want this for? Noggit doesnt work with cata adts and why would you convert cata to mop with blizz adts?

Just curious..
