M2Mod4.5 Blender 2.62 plugin


M2 model editing



Features:
M2 to M2i and back convertation. Supports bones, attachments etc.
New GUI

Framework 4.0
Blender 2.62

Supported WoW versions:
Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria
(However, models can be converted to WotLK)

Hi Skarn,

I get an "Assertion Failure" notice when I try to use this program. Please refer to the attached screenshot.

I'm using Windows 7 with Python 2.7.6.

Any idea what might be causing this problem?

I suppose it requires Python 2.6.

I was able to find a legacy version of python (2.6) and installed it:

The problem persists. I'm not sure if Python is the problem to begin with, since it appears that the M2I creator is not written in Python. Only the blender plugins are written in Python.

Any other idea? The program works well for others, as I've seen on this forum. Not sure what could be the cause here.

Probably your m2 is broken itself. Or m2i.

The M2 is freshly extracted out of MoP MPQs. I have attached it, along with its skin files, to this post. Please let me know if you are able to create an M2I with this M2.

Probably corrupt geosets that you'll have to delete in 010editor.

easy you have to open the first skin (00.skin) file and change the number like if the submesh that is under 60000 is 15 change the number of submesh to 16 I had the problem with the felbreaker and many other but after doing that its working with blender and I hope it works for you

Wutt??..... How does that make anyone want to start using it over the previous version?  Is there some sort of Advantage over using the already great M2Mod4.0?

The Version 4.0 already did what you listed.... Sure it's got a GUI now.. does it do anything else other than not having people edit a text file?

it is a version for wotlk, m2mod4 is for cata/mop

yeah but still i like to extract model from WoD to every edit that i could want (in.262 bledner tahnk to 4,5redux) then use CATA_To_LK convertor and its done
