M2redux works only with creatures models nothing else

Really?! ahhhh man that sucks!

Is there any way I can convert the M2 files otherwise? There are no up to date blender plugins, and I've seen some 3ds max ones but they are all discontinued or the links don't work.

This is just to look at the model, I plan on swapping them, I am aware of wow model viewer but it doesn't show models either even the beta10 version

I just want to open the files and actually SEE what the M2 model itself, so far I haven't been able to open 1

Resources and Tools / M2Mod not working when converting M2 Files?

I've searched ALL OVER, for the past 3 days for a solution, no one has this specific issue.

Before you ask I have 2.76 blender, which also shouldn't matter anyway since I can't even get to that point

The issue is this:

I extract the M2 file using CASC
Open up M2ModRedux 4.6.1 and then click on the import tab
Where it says InputM2, I insert the extracted M2 file called Sword_2H_Katana_B_01.m2
Get 2 other variants of that file with m2i and m2 at the end respectively
Click Go!
Status: Error: failed to load M2, file is corrupt.
It looks like this:
http://prntscr.com/bwfctr

What is the problem? I have World Of Warcraft installed. I also uninstalled and reinstalled EVERYTHING (All the way up to warlords of draenor) and am on patch 6.03, I am aware that WOD does not use MPQ files and have used CASC for extracting files, but the M2 converter says its corrupt?

This can't be right, I've also repaired all the files, maybe it's something simple, but I don't see any answers.

Any help would be nice, thank you very much in advance
