Title: Transitioning Project
Post by: WhiteDarkrai on May 14, 2013, 05:30:41 pm
I'm currently in a project where I'm transitioning several zones into one another. (Creating new ways to access the zone)

This is Redridge and Swamp of sorrows. I'm not done yet. This is the first thing I'm releasing/showcasing on here. (Side note; I've started working/playing with noggit two weeks ago or so.)

It'd be really cool if you used world objects to help the transition, for example the way the Bulwark separates Tirisfall and the Plaguelands. It's great for aesthetics and really writes a story about the area making it special :) Great work so far, love to see more. ^^

You can't see them because of the distance I was at, but I have some objects. A little deserted camp.

Interesting concept. Do you think perhaps you will eventually turn it to be less zone based and more open world like Skyrim? Because while I like your idea and work, I don't really see where it's going or it's functional purpose? :s

Honestly, it was for a guy making a server and he wanted some zone transitions. I've lost contact with him and that was the only one I've done. I can do more. (Duh.) In essence, it was for nothing. I'm not going to be using it. Unless someone wants to pay me a ton of money to make wow an open world like skyrim as you said, then I probably wont do it.
