Title: Noggit Crash?
Post by: venumfox on June 18, 2012, 04:19:52 pm
My Error Log.
Code: [Select]
1 - (Noggit.cpp:130): Noggit Studio - SDL 1.1
700 - (Video.cpp:204): [Debug] GL: Version: 4.2.11318 Compatibility Profile Context
700 - (Video.cpp:205): [Debug] GL: Vendor: ATI Technologies Inc.
700 - (Video.cpp:206): [Debug] GL: Renderer: AMD Radeon HD 6670
700 - (Noggit.cpp:87): Using config file.
700 - (Noggit.cpp:257): Game path: C:Users*****DesktopGamingWoWWorld of Warcraft 3.3.5a (no install)
700 - (Noggit.cpp:261): Project path: C:Users*****DesktopGamingWoWWorld of Warcraft 3.3.5a (no install)
701 - (Noggit.cpp:308): [Error] Could not find locale directory. Be sure, that there is one containing the file "realmlist.wtf".

Oh yeah and here's my conf.
Code: [Select]
#This is a config file template. To use it rename into noggit.conf and set your options
#Edit this to your WoWFile!!!
Path = C:Users*****DesktopGamingWoWWorld of Warcraft 3.3.5a (no install)

#Edit this to your Project-Directory and uncomment if you want to use it!
#ProjectPath =

#Set this to the file where you will import models from (the model viewer log for example :) )
ImportFile  = C:Program FilesWorld of Warcraft Model Viewer

#The far clipping value. Set to 2048, 3072, 4096 etc. for a further look. Higher values need more 3d power.
#1024 is the standard value and will be taken if you do not set this value.
FarZ=2048

However, there is a realmlist.wtf inside my wow folder it is in Data/enUS/
This is where it is always supposed to be, any ideas?

Here is the problem. Read the manual.

wiki/index.php5?title=Noggit_user_manual#The_config_file (http://modcraft.io/wiki/index.php5?title=Noggit_user_manual#The_config_file" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

You're right, got that figured out thanks (:

Okay one last question, I was following the guide to create a new continent, but when I try to edit my continent in Noggit i cannot even find it.

C:Users*****DesktopAll-GMModel EditingWorld of Warcraft 3.3.5a (no install)WorldMapsVenumousGaming
This is where my VenumousGaming.wdt file is, and all of my adt's that go along with it.

C:Users*****DesktopAll-GMModel EditingWorld of Warcraft 3.3.5a (no install)DBFilesClientMap.dbc
And this as you can see is where my map.dbc file is with my new continent added into the DBC.

I don't think I made any mistakes, well that i know of? I just know that I cannot load the continent like i've seen in the pictures so I must've done something wrong yeah?

Yeah that's a possibility, I should grab a new Taliis and try again.
