Title: [SOLVED] [BUG] [QUESTION] Import problem
Post by: <GT> on December 22, 2012, 10:37:04 pm
Hi there all,

i've got a problem with importing models from WMV to the noggit. I've new version  of nogg, and recommended version of WMV.

I favor the metody of importing from wmv log.txt, but if I choose "Import last WMO" in noggit, it breaks..

So i read tutorial - done.. but i cant find the problem.

Thanks for comment and sorry for my very bad english.

If you're having an issue with importing WMOs you should try my solution at the top of this page :)

viewtopic.php?f=48&t=3549&start=15 (http://modcraft.io/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=3549&start=15" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

It would be nice if somebody put that in the FAQ already. Or at least something similar to it. It's a confirmed issue.

Ok, i  tried your solution, but problem is still.

-copy and past wmo/m2..
-delete object
-[insert last wmo]
-Boom!.. shutdown..

edit: insert m2 too doesnt work..

You start noggit in administrator mode?
If so don´t do it.
Then do you use the Modelviewer linked in the FAQs for noggit?

Give it a try without Administrator and compatibility mode. For me compatibility mode causes crashes like that. Also if that doesn't work it would be helpful to post your log file and also your config.

You config file is not named noggit.conf. You removed all #s without reason. You have a trailing backslash in the file name.

I have such a problem with some Adt's made from templates. When I'm creating new wdt/adt in Taliis or use blizzard'svtthere are no crashes at all.

#Edit this to your WoWFile!!!
Path = C:UsersTATTOODesktopDokumentyWowWorld of Warcraft
ProjectPath =
ImportFile= C:UsersTATTOODesktopDokumentyWowWorld of WarcraftWMVuserSettingsLog.txt
there must be # on every line except paths and farz.

Set project poath or comment out
ProjectPath = F:WoWModdingMyProjectscurrentProject

OR

#ProjectPath =

Also this line is not in the config file

there must be # on every line except paths and farz.
And IF

#there must be # on every line except paths and farz.

This is mine:

Code: [Select]
#This is a config file template. To use it rename into noggit.conf and set your options
#Edit this to your WoWFile!!!
Path = F:WoWModdingClient335aNoggit

#Edit this to your Project-Directory and uncomment if you want to use it!
ProjectPath = F:WoWModdingProjectsTutorialProjectpatch

#Set this to the file where you will import models from (the model viewer log for example :) )
ImportFile  = F:WoWModdingToolsWoWModelViewer7userSettingslog.txt

#The far clipping value. Set to 2048, 3072, 4096 etc. for a further look. Higher values need more 3d power.
#1024 is the standard value and will be taken if you do not set this value.
FarZ=10000

Unfortunately, this doesn't help at all. The part before that is the only thing actually helping us.
