Title: Adding Land In Noggit3?
Post by: FoxtrotAnon on May 03, 2011, 05:30:10 pm
I was just wondering if I am able to add land mass to the area that I have created using the .adt files. I've been using Toyoka's General Guide to World Building and he doesn't mention anything after actually creating the "white area" that is visible in Noggit after creating all of the .adt files. As far as I am aware there is no feature on Noggit that will let you do this, but I may be wrong. [Edit] How do I actually create land within the white area specified in Toyoka's guide? Any help would be appreciated.

There is no question in that text. You can add land outside of noggit with guides like that one, yes.

Sorry, I forgot to actually type what I was trying to ask. Would you happen to know of any guides that include some instruction on how to insert land masses?

If there is something white in Noggit, there is land. That white thing _IS_ land.

The with area is land. You can set basetexture and paint textures ofver this one. Modify the ground with the noggit tools and save the adt again. In the moment you have to create the adts outside of noggit, but i will implement the new adt function in one of the next versions.
